Why Businesses Partner With Us
Employer partners gain access to motivated, responsible students who are committed to both work and education.
Sovereign Scholars are carefully selected students who demonstrate determination, reliability, and long-term educational goals.
Partner businesses benefit from:
• dependable part-time employees
• students committed to personal responsibility
• community impact recognition
• positive local visibility
• participation in an education support initiative
Employer partners also play an important role in helping students overcome barriers to financial aid eligibility.
How the Employment Partnership Works
Employer partnerships are designed to be simple and flexible for businesses.
Students participating in the Sovereign Scholars program are placed in part-time employment positions with partner businesses located near their college or campus.
Employment helps scholars:
• earn income while enrolled in school
• develop professional work experience
• build consistent employment records
• generate the tax documentation required to qualify for financial aid
Most scholars work 10–20 hours per week while continuing their studies.

Partner With the Sovereign Scholars Fund
The Sovereign Scholars Fund works with local businesses to provide employment opportunities for students who are working toward financial independence while pursuing their education.
Many students are unable to qualify for federal financial aid because they cannot obtain parental information required to complete the FAFSA. Through the Sovereign Scholars program, students receive temporary scholarship support while working toward establishing their financial independence.
Employer partners play a critical role in this process by providing stable employment opportunities that allow scholars to earn income, build work experience, and generate the tax documentation required to qualify for financial aid independently.
By partnering with the Sovereign Scholars Fund, employers help students build the financial foundation needed to continue their education.
